What is Rest Retreat all about?
Over the course of three days, you'll be immersed in a wholesome blend of relaxation practices, nourishing food, and meaningful connection. We all need a reset from time to time, and this retreat offers just that—a gentle yet powerful weekend of self-care, restoration, and deep rest.
More about what you’ll experience

A gentle and meditative practice that focuses on relaxation and stress relief through yoga postures that soothe the body, calm the mind and release stored tension. We will use props like yoga pillows and blankets to ensure complete comfort and easy during the practice.

A guided yogic sleep meditation that helps to increase body awareness, improve sleep and boost your body’s systems (digestion, immune, lymphatic). This practice can also help to subconsciously rewire the brain, reducing unwanted mental beliefs and patterns.

Writing to bring awareness to your self and what things are helping you or holding you back. Being intentional about what we want to nurture in our lives and what we want to release helps bring clarity and peace of mind.

The space to slow down, reflect and reconnect with yourself. Life can be busy and its not often we give ourselves a proper chance to take time for ourselves to enjoy and be completely present.
The Space
The retreat will be held in The Yoga Barn, Kilkenny which is a restored ‘clochán’ or Irish stone village, surrounded by green fields, trees, and big skies.
Hidden away in the lush Kilkenny countryside, though only 20 minutes from Waterford City, the Yoga Barn breathes peace, calm, and tranquility.
The Garden
The garden has a area with a sauna and plunge pool surrounded by tall tree’s and lit up at night with lights and the starry sky.
There’s plenty of space around the property to sit outside or go for a walk in nature.
There’s an optional trip to a nearby waterfall in the forest included in the weekend.

The retreat will be held in the most precious location, The Yoga Barn, Killkenny, Ireland. It’s a rural old Irish farmhouse.
Yoga Sessions
A mix of mindful Vinyasa Flow, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra meditation and Pranayama weaved throughout the weekend will have you feeling refreshed, balanced and calm.
Food
Enjoy home cooked delicious food in a family style setting all weekend, prepared lovingly by our private retreat chef Hannah.
